Learning support
Our learning support unit is designed to cater for students who have specific needs. Students are taught in small groups so that they receive targeted, individual teaching and learning opportunities developed to meet their particular needs. The support extends into the classroom, to allow an ease of transition for those students who need this.
The Learning Support Unit, lies at the heart of our support for students. Within this one area a wide variety of support systems and staff cater for the diverse needs of our students. From SEN to Gifted and Talented, from Learning Mentors to Access Co-ordinators, the LSU provides individual and small group support.
