Money skills workshop supported by Barclays Bank
Around 30 volunteers from Barclays Bank visited the school and worked with the entire of Year 8 for two hours to help them develop their enterprising skills and improve their financial knowledge.
The event was a great success. Students worked in teams to complete a range of exercises ranging from planning personal budgets, financial quizzes and planning and budgeting for a party. All the students actively participated and were given opportunity to present in front of their year group which many took enthusiastically. By lunch time the students had had a lot of fun and produced a lot of evidence for their NCFE BTEC qualification.
