The Bow School prefect team is a group of Year 11 students elected by the students, who undertake a number of different responsibilities in the school. This can range from helping teachers with any tasks or being prepared to ensure that all student concerns can be addressed at any time. The prefect team is also in charge of implementing changes to improve the school experience for both staff and students, by addressing any issues that teachers and students raise. They work closely with the school council, the Head Teacher and the senior leadership team of staff and individuals, acting as a bridge for everyone at Bow School to make sure that everyone’s needs are met. It is their responsibility to model and demonstrate the skills and attributes that will make any student in the school a success.
For the prefects themselves, it is their opportunity to develop as individuals and also to give back to the school community.
