Year 9

Year 9 is an important period for students – not least because it requires them to make important decisions about subjects they want to study at GCSE. We have been involving both the boys and their parents in discussions about the process and the decisions so that, between us, we can achieve the best outcome for every student.  This will enable us to ensure that each student has the support in place to achieve what they are capable of achieving.

There have already been many exciting opportunities for Year 9 boys this year – including trips to France and Belgium, rewards and prizes for students who consistently give their best and contribute to the success of the Bow School community, as well as the chance to work with groups and partner organisations such as Rothschild Bank, Into University and TRAID (a fair trade clothing company). We regularly celebrate the success of boys in the year group.
