Jazz Workshop with musicians from the Wigmore Hall

A selected group of year 8 students took part in a jazz workshop where highly experienced musicians passed on their knowledge and skills of Jazz Music. Students developed performance, rhythm, listening and improvisation skills, but mostly the appreciation of Jazz Music was a large influence on students and teachers!
This was followed up by a concert held at Wigmore hall on Thursday 15th October. Some of the pieces performed in the workshops were played at this concert as well as other repertoire and an improvisation section with students from other schools.
