Juniper Hall
March 2010
As part of the Always Club we look to reward the best of the best in Year 8, and do this by providing fun, interesting and rewarding trips and activities possible.
This term’s trip was to Juniper Hall in the Surrey Downs for a 4 day residential stay, it was also the base for the Eco Challenge project. Here the boys were asked to look at the environmental impact they were having on their community and how they could make a difference in improving it.
During our stay we were involved in conservation work to protect the natural environment surrounding Juniper Hall, as well as looking at the local wildlife. We had the opportunity to wander around Box Hill and the Surrey Downs, which was as exhausting as it was rewarding.
Other activities included team building, mini Olympics and orienteering, to name just a few. I have to say that from my point of view and supported by Ms. Hyde and Miss. Jeeves, this trip was a complete success and the boys (as you would expect from the Always Club) were impeccably behaved!
