Jack Petchey Awards
The Jack Petchey Award is a monthly, whole school award for students who show exceptional effort or achievement. The winner is presented with a plaque and the opportunity to spend £300.00 on the school resources of his choice.

Mohammed Hassan - 7SMay 2010 Mohammed recently won the first prize in the Borough creative writing competition, which is such an honour for our school. Mohammed is an extremely enthusiastic, well-organised and disciplined student. He sets and excellent example to his peers and approaches tasks with an equal balance of seriousness and humour. |

Fozol Ullah - 11SApril 2010 Fozol is so kind and considerate towards others, especially with new students. He takes it upon himself to make them feel welcome and befriend them. He holds doors open for members of staff, always has a cheerful comment and generally creates a positive, caring atmosphere. |

Liban Mahamud - 9WMarch 2010 This student is fantastic!! Hardworking, Intelligent and very polite and well mannered. He has been taking part in school projects during his own time and has shown maturity in his approach to school work. |

Abdul Wahab - 8LFebruary 2010 Abdul is a great all-rounder. During his stay at Juniper Hall this year, while completing an Eco Challenge course, Abdul also showed he has great leadership skills. Whilst in school, Abdul is a polite and diligent student and a credit to the school. |

Kieron Roberts (Smith) - 9CJanuary 2010 Kieron has improved tremendously since he received support. His attendance to both lessons and school has improved and he has been focussed. In addition, his level of concentration in lessons has also improved. |
