Jack Petchey Awards

The Jack Petchey Award is a monthly, whole school award for students who show exceptional effort or achievement. The winner is presented with a plaque and the opportunity to spend £300.00 on the school resources of his choice.

Kieron Roberts (Smith) - 9C

March 2010

Kieron has improved tremendously since he received support. His attendance to both lessons and school has improved and he has been focussed. In addition, his level of concentration in lessons has also improved.

Dipu Rimal - 8B

September 2009

Dipu is our first winner this year. Dipu was nominated for being positive, helpful and an outstanding ambassador for the school.

Shimmel Gammon - 9C

October 2009

Despite a difficult start to his time here at Bow School, Shimmel has shown maturity and taken responsibility for his learning and attendance to school. He is a well mannered polite young man and a good example to others.

Abdihakim Ahmed - 9W

November 2009

Abdi's effort in class is consistently high and as a result his attainment levels have much improved. He regularly helps peers with spelling and offers support when they are stuck.

Jaydon Sullivan - 7S

December 2009

Jaydon was nominated for being a pleasant boy who has a positive impact on the school and other pupils. His behaviour is immaculate and he is making good academic progress.
