Bow School - Paris Residential

On Friday 29th June, forty students from years 8, 9 and 10, accompanied by Miss Davies, Mr Jones, Miss Ogden and Miss Roberts participated in a three-day residential trip to Paris. The students arrived at school at 4am, and took an early morning ferry  across the English Channel. They spent the afternoon in the centre of Paris, visiting the Eiffel Tower, Tuileries, the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre museum. On Saturday, they visited Parc Astérix, a theme park based on the Astérix and Obelisk comics and on the Sunday they had the opportunity to visit the seaside town of Calais before boarding the ferry. Students benefited hugely from the experience, using their language skills and enhancing their understanding of French culture. All students were a credit to themselves and the school.
