Bow students compete in the London School of Economics Urban Debate Cup
"On 27th March, Bow School students took part in the Urban Debate Cup at London School of Economics. Three teams competed against schools from all over London in the day-long tournament, debating a wide range of challenging motion from 'This house would intervene militarily in Syria', to 'This house would ban all games and toys related to war'.
The boys performed admirably, with all three teams winning two of their three debates. The judges and mentors commented on the Bow students' well-structured arguments, exemplary teamwork and quick rebuttals.
Bow is now ranked 32nd out of over 140 schools that took part in the Debate Mate competition.
We're aiming for top 10 next year!"
