Caring for each other and others
Caring for each other and others has become an important part of the Bow School ethos. Year 10 students are currently leading the School Charity Committee to organise and deliver fundraising events. After a huge success last year, the head teacher and school governors have agreed that we can continue with seasonal non-uniform days at the end of each term. Student council representatives advocate on the behalf of the student body to nominate a charity to support for each event. At the end of last half term, the school raised over £300 for Wings of Hope a charity which supports the education of children in less economically developed countries. We are also joining in on National charity events. For Children in Need last November, we raised £200 and hope to raise more for Comic Relief coming in March.
