Even More Athletics Success in the Simmon’s Cup
On Wednesday 27th June the Yr 7, 8, 9 and 10 Athletics teams went to compete in the Simmons Cup. Schools from all across London are invited to attend and it is traditionally open to the best Athletic schools in London. This year a total of 14 schools attended from all the London boroughs. Our Yr 7’s came 6th out of 14, Yr 8’s came 7th out of 14, Yr 9’s came 9th out of 14 and Yr 10’s came 8th out of 14. Overall we finished in 5th place and were the 2nd highest finishing Tower Hamlets team behind Bishop Challoner who were the overall winners.
The boys have dramatically developed as the season has progressed and are now seen as one of the best schools in Tower Hamlets for athletics.
