Exam Results 2012
Students and staff are celebrating after announcing an impressive 91% of students achieved 5+ A*-C grades at GCSE, a staggering increase of 29 percentage points in just one year; with 49% of students achieving these grades including English and Maths. A remarkable 71% of students attained an A*-C in GCSE Maths and a similarly impressive 81% of students gained an A*-C in GCSE Art.
Amongst the results were some outstanding individual achievements including:
Hussain Thoha 4 A*s, 4 As and 1 B
Rahim Ali 1 A*, 4 As, 2 Bs and 2 BTEC Distinctions
Hubibul Islam 1 A*, 4 As, 2Bs and 1 C
Akira Biedron 2 A*, 2 As, 3Bs, 1 C and 2 BTEC passes
These achievements are indicative of the excellent progress we have made in recent years, as recognised by Ofsted. Early indications show that GCSE results are predicted to continue their upward trend.
These are excellent results and demonstrate our commitment to making excellent progress across the curriculum. Our students and staff have worked incredibly hard to achieve these results and we are very proud of their determination and conscientious attitude.
