Gifted and Talented after school sessions

The Citizenship Department recently ran the first of their Gifted and Talented after school sessions for students showing real promise in the subject. The session focused on what kind of activities they could do to extend their thinking in lessons. They were given a booklet of activities and are being encouraged to use it independently in lessons. Watch this space for more sessions, the next one (scheduled for January) is focused on ‘Analysing Sources of Information for Bias and Assessing origins of opinion.
