Meeting Up With Transition Mentors
As part of a Transition Programme between Rothschild’s Bank and Bow School, seven Year 7 students were invited to visit the Rothschild’s Building and meet with their mentors who helped them to prepare them for their transition from Primary School to secondary school in 2011.
During this visit the students got to see the banks archives and learned of the history of Rothschild’s Bank. They were treated to a delicious buffet lunch in a conference room on the 14th floor of the state of the art building. The room had panoramic views of the city of London, and students enjoyed identifying famous London landmarks from their bird’s eye view.
As the programme comes to a close for this particular group of students, it gave the boys the opportunity to reflect on the positive outcomes and experiences of the programme that began for them when they were in year 6.
Bow School look forward to continuing this exciting programme with Rothschild’s Bank and our new cohort of transition student’s currently in year 6.
