Monday 13 January 2025 Free laptops pave the way for Bow School pupils to become World and Career Ready Students at Bow School received free laptops thanks to the school’s partnership with a local digital inclusion project that will give them access to otherwise unavailable learning opportunities.

Tuesday 7 January 2025 Primary Partnerships Last week, we were thrilled to welcome Year 4 pupils from Old Palace Primary School to our school for an exciting electricity workshop! This came as part of our Primary Programme and efforts in forging strong partnerships with our local primaries.

Monday 6 January 2025 The Beautiful Truth - The Poetry Patchwork We are pleased to share that Bow student Arian (9M1) was named one of the winners of the Young Writers poetry competition. His poem, Compassion, will be published in the book The Beautiful Truth – The Poetry Patchwork.

Friday 3 January 2025 Chess Club Last term, we began to run chess club this term for KS3 and have some very extraordinary players, we appreciate their enthusiasm and determination to verse each other with great sportsmanship and learn from every game. We aim to have a Chess tournament this term so we are looking forward to that!.

Friday 20 December 2024 Guess the Baubles Competiton We are pleased to share the ‘Guess the number of baubles’ results. The correct answer was 60, and five students got it right: Ahsan (8T1), Yaseen(8P1), Jannat (8M2), Ruba (B1), and Sulaiman (9B1).

Wednesday 18 December 2024 Sew and Chat As part of our series of Parent Events and Ambassador programme, parents enjoyed taking part in Sew and Chat workshop. A highly popular course, allowing parents to have fun & develop embroidery skills. They also decorated canvas bags, which will donated to the Bow Food Bank."Thank you allowing us to do embroidery workshop. I don’t normally attend these workshop but now I’m regretting why haven’t attended before. I truly appreciate and enjoyed every detail of the embroidery workshop and met wonderful parent whom I’ve made great friendship with. I honestly will miss everyone involved especially Mrs Fahmidah. Friday 13 December 2024 Seasons Greetings! Seasons greetings, from all at Bow School! Our Christmas tree is up in the atrium, and there is certainly a feeling of festivity in the air. As such, the importance of generosity and kindness, alongside our school value of responsibility permeates the community. The last week of term will be our very first Bow Gives Back week, we would like to ask families, if you are able to, to donate items listed below which we will be dividing between Whitechapel Mission, a local homelessness charity, and Bow Foodbank.

Tuesday 3 December 2024 Anti-Bullying-Ambassadors & Anti-Bullying Wek The Anti-Bullying-Ambassadors led assemblies last week for Anti-Bullying Week.They did an amazing job, showing #courage, #adaptability, #determination, #respect and teamwork to lead assemblies to each year group.We are incredibly proud of the work they have done in making Bow a bully-free environment. Thursday 24 October 2024 Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Today saw Bow School hosting the Diana Award and five other schools for Anti-Bullying Ambassador training. The day went very well, with staff from other schools and The Diana Award complementing our students on their confidence and exemplary behaviour. We are so proud of every single Anti-Bullying Ambassador that we now have at Bow School. Our ambassadors are equipped with the skills, determination and knowledge to lead positive change around the school. Thursday 17 October 2024 National Museum of Computing Year 10 Computer Science students embarked on a trip to the National Museum of Computing this month.During this trip students had the opportunity to expand on their understanding of Robotics and AI, see first-hand what the first computer looked like and how it processed data, visualise the degree of shrinkage in hardware and appreciate the advancements of what computers were able to do and what they are able to do now.It was a great experience that students thoroughly enjoyed and will find incredibly valuable towards their studies.

Friday 27 September 2024 Congratulations Kitty! Year 7 Bow student Kitty decided to fundraise for an incredible charity CHECT - who specialise in helping children who have had and those who are battling with eye cancer. The charity is very close to Kitty's heart as she bravely faced, and won, her own battle with this disease from 9 weeks old!

Monday 9 September 2024 UCL Engineering Festival On Thursday 18th July 2024, Year 7, 8 & 9 STEM Club students who were working towards the Crest award project, Formula 1 Cars project attended The UCL Engineering festival at UCL as part of their enrichment programme.

Thursday 5 September 2024 Heritage Day 2024 Before the summer holidays commenced, we hosted Heritage Day 2024, and it was a huge success! Thank you so much to those who celebrated their heritage through their dress, those who brought in (delicious) food, and those who came and bought it!
