• Tuesday 22 July 2025 Academy of Real Assets We are thrilled to share that Arian (9M1) and Tameem (11X1) are among the latest winners of the Academy of Real Assets annual Essay Writing Competition. Their essay will be featured in the newest collection of student essays, “If I Could Build My Neighbourhood from Scratch.”
• Friday 18 July 2025 Sandbox VR Students recently embarked on a trip to Sandbox VR. Despite the technology being around for a while, it was a new experience for all of us!It was great to se all participants have an amazing time and thoroughly enjoy being immersed into the game.The experience has furthered the understanding and appreciation of Virtual Reality for our Computer Science students who can draw upon this experience when learning about Ethical and Cultural Implications.We hope to do it again next year with more students!
• Wednesday 16 July 2025 Stop The Hate Workshop with West Ham On Wednesday 9th July, the West Ham United Foundation delivered ‘Stop The Hate' workshops to our KS3 students, funded by Tower Hamlets Council.

This internal diploma has been designed to celebrate and support every student's journey towards becoming world and career ready, by recognising the incredible achievements they make across all areas of school life.
• Monday 7 July 2025 An Introduction to the Ancient World of History On Thursday 3rd July thirteen Year 9s were introduced to the world of Ancient History with a trip to the British Museum.

• Thursday 3 July 2025 Welcome Event This week, we hosted a Welcome Event for Year 4-5 pupils at our local primary schools as part of our efforts to improve transition and build greater connections in the community. Pupils and families joined us for a fun-filled afternoon of garden games, t-shirt designing, music, tours and much more! It was great to speak to prospective families about our school and for them to find out more about Bow.

• Thursday 26 June 2025 A Day in the Life of a Head of Year My day as Head of Year begins well before the students arrive. I check my emails, follow up on any pastoral concerns, and prepare for my 8:15 briefing with my Assistant Head of Year and Tutor team.

• Tuesday 10 June 2025 The Young Artist's Summer Show 2025 We are delighted to announce that two of our student's works have been selected for The Young Artist's Summer Show 2025 at the Royal Academy from 23,000 applicants!Endangerment by Luka Ceraskaite and London Flooded by Shoaid Shamim hit the brief beautifully, explained here by exhibition coordinator Farshid Moussavi: "The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2025 will be dedicated to art's capacity to forge dialogues and to afford us sensitivity towards societal concerns, such as ecology, survival and living together."The Exhibition is free, so go and check it out at the Royal Academy Picadilly from 15th July-10th August or online from the 15th July.Congratulations to Luka and Shoaid; Mr. Ling, Mr. El Salahi and Ms. Denny are very proud of you! #Determination #Creativity
• Friday 6 June 2025 Fred Trueman U15s League The cricket team did us proud at the Fred Trueman U15s league before half term. The team returned with stories of 100+ run leads and five wickets taken by a single bowler and they had a lovely day of cricket in the sun.Thank you to those who supported on the day and congratulations to the team for their triumphs. #LifeAtBow #Determination
