ASDAN Students welcome Year 7’s

The Year 10 and 11 ASDAN groups have been working together with Miss Abi to plan and host a ‘Welcome to Bow School Party’ for Year 7 students. 

The senior students were responsible for designing invitations, choosing the type of food to provide, selecting appropriate games the students could play, making a shopping list for their trip to Tesco, assigning who would do what in the kitchen and they also had to make sure that their guests were looked after at all times during the party. 

Everyone worked together to make sure the event was a success and the ASDAN students made the Year 7 students feel very welcome.  Larry Swaby has written a report click here to read it.  

Congratulations to all of the hosts who will be accredited with their Independent Living module for the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness award and to Miss Abi for her support and patience throughout this module.  Keep up the great work everyone!
