An Introduction to the Ancient World of History
On Thursday 3rd July thirteen Year 9s were introduced to the world of Ancient History with a trip to the British Museum.
We looked at the impact of the Ancient World upon us today, not least by admiring the architecture of the British Museum itself with its Corinthian columns. Inside students met Alexander the Great, Cleopatra and the Persian Kings through discovering artefacts of the time. They’ re ready now to immerse themselves into the Classical world
