Black History Month
In October, Bow School Celebrated Black History Month.
Learning about other cultures and their history forms an integral part of our curriculum, alongside celebrating our diverse school community. As such, Black History Month is widely celebrated across Bow School, with students engaging in a range of activities, lessons and workshops to educate on Black History.
Students were invited to create their own posters to celebrate all that they had learnt, and we are proud to announce Ubaydah in Year 7 as the winner. Ubaydah referenced Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, Malcom X and other historic icons that they learned about. Congratulations, and well done for creating such an informative piece!
