Bow Bulls - U15 Tower Hamlets Rugby Champions!!

The U15 rugby team took part in the annual Tower Hamlets Championships at Millwall Rugby Club. On the day they faced strong teams from Stepney Green and Raines Foundation. In the group stages the Bow Bulls beat Stepney and drew with Raines. This gave us an automatic place in the final as Stepney beat Raines. Stepney again turned over Raines during extra time of the playoff for the final. During the final Stepney took an early lead. Stepney held onto the lead until the last play of normal time where the Bow Bulls managed to steal the ball which led to a try. In extra time both teams had chances to win but it took a moment of inspiration by captain Will Evans who gave the ball the Naief Ahmed on the blind side who out sprinted a Stepney player to score the winning try.
