Bow’s Day of University Life

On 10 May, as part of our IntoUniversity programme, our Y10 students took part in an excellent workshop at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. Our students learned about the university application process and options available to them. They had the opportunity to tour the campus, including the Sir Mo Farah Track, which was named in his honour in 2017, and also had the chance to meet current university students to learn about the non-academic aspects of university life. The workshop ended with a History taster session which covered the cultural diversity of the UK history curriculum. We are totally confident that the workshop has inspired our students to explore all their post 16 options to truly realise their aspirations.
