Budding Artists in Year 7

Last month, a select group of talented artists in Year 7 participated in a printing workshop delivered by Maria Quintin, offering them the chance to learn new creative techniques and processes from a professional artist.

Students learnt how to create printing plates, use oil based inks to make monoprints and how to use a mini printing press. They created some striking silhouette prints using foliage and plant material sourced in the school grounds. Below is some of the exceptional creations!
