Close Encounters of an Aim2Attain Kind

Fifteen of our Y9 students took part in The Switch charity’s virtual ‘Aim2Attain’ workshops. There were three themed workshops which covered First Impressions; Career Pathways and Year 9 & Beyond. Aim2Attain helps students maximise their opportunities beyond school and into working life through close collaboration with volunteers from the business world. This year we were linked with volunteers from Barclays Bank and the sessions really helped our students to realise and achieve their full potential. Barclays’ volunteers supported our students with building their confidence and helped them set SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely) goals for the next academic year. We are looking forward to returning to in-person workshops very soon.
