Cross Country Champions
This week, students competed in the Tower Hamlets Cross Country competition.
The shining sun and sense of camaraderie amongst our students made for the perfect conditions, and we extend a well done and congratulations to all who participated, for not only displaying great sportsmanship and skill, but representing Bow School so well.
Congratulations are in order for Kaira in 8T2 who came 1ST in the Y8 girls competition; she led by over 100m at the end of the race and is definitely one to watch for the future. She will now go on to represent Tower Hamlets in the London competition later this month.
Elisha Anglin in 8M2 also came 3rd in the Y8 girls race and Ry-Lee Porter came 4th in the Y9 boys race. Overall, the Y8 and Y9 teams came 3rd in the borough across all secondary schools.
We were incredibly proud that our students did so well, and whilst on the viewing line clapped and cheered their peers from other schools across the borough. Each and every one of them displayed great support for one another and our Bow values at all times. Well done all!
