District Athletics Borough Championships 2013

On Thursday 16^th May the Year 7, 8 & 9 athletics teams competed in the 2013 Borough Championships at Mile End.  Out of 11 schools competing the Year 7 team finished in a respectable 7^th place. The Yr 8 team finished in 3^rd place trailing 2^nd by 1 point and Year 9 finished in 4^th place.

Special mention to Eduardo (high jump) and Kane (100m) in Yr 7 who finished 2^nd in their events. Nabil won the Yr 8 shot putt with Yamin (discus) and Naief (100m) coming 2^nd in their events.

Rene (200m) finished 2^nd and Ismail (100m) finshed 3^rd. Rene and Ismail have been selected to represent Tower Hamlets in the London games.
