District Athletics Championships

On Thursday 11th June the boy’s athletics teams competed against the other thirteen schools in the borough at the 2017 District Athletics Championships. Students performed exceptionally well during the day trying to beat personal bests (PB’s) and school records whilst also trying to finish as high up the league table as possible.

Special mention must go to:

Musa Ahmed (Y7) who won the 100m final coming in at 13.12s to set a new school record.

Anwar Griffith (Y8) who came 1st in the high jump - jumping an impressive 1.45m to beat his personal best by 5cm.

Aman Hoque Chowdhury (Y9) who smashed the school record in the discus - throwing 22.40m finishing in 1st place.
