Friendship Afternoon
Making the transition from primary to secondary school can be daunting, but we know that the quicker students adjust to their new surroundings, the sooner they will be able to achieve their potential.
To welcome our new Year 7s, and to ensure that their transition from primary to secondary is a successful one, we have our unique transition programme that starts the moment your child is offered a place at Bow School, to ensure all pupils feel supported in their transition process and that it goes as smoothly as possible.
Our transition programme kick started with Friendship Afternoon, Thursday 7th March allowing every child who has been offered a place and those seeking to find out more to join us for taster activities, meet new peers and teachers and find out more about life at Bow. The event was a fantastic success, with many pupils building friendships, meeting their new teachers and parents having the opportunity to find out more by meeting with our senior leaders and in a fair style event. We can't wait till the next transition event, coming soon!
