Year 8 Girl's Hockey Team wins Tower Hamlets U13s Hockey Championships!!
Following the success of our Year 8 Boys Hockey Team becoming Tower Hamlets Champions, the girls had their turn. On Friday 22nd April, two mixed Year 7 and 8 teams competed against 6 other teams for the Championship title! The B Team managed to play successfully with Lilly Delmar, the top goal scorer, leading them to joint 3rd position.
Whilst our A Team fought the 2-year reigning champions, Sir John Cass School in the final. They were playing for 8 minutes and managed to score twice in the first 4 minutes! Continuing to defend against a very competitive team, they managed to seal their victory and become the U13s Tower Hamlets Girl’s Hockey Champions!
They all worked incredibly hard as a team and have made all of Bow School very proud – well done to all of you; Nia Buckley, Ellie Conn, Keithia Kalonji, Sawdha Khanom, Salima Begum, Kerry-Ann Labrosse, Suraya Yasmin, Aaisha Islam and Aieshah Saadiqah.
