Hockey Success
On Wednesday 4th October the following students from Year 7 & Year 8 went to Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre and played against some tough competition from London and Essex: Aidan Bicer, James Holbrook, Nebile Abase, Azad Azad, Nayem Miah, Bradley Porter, Matheus Alves, Luke Eales, Charlie Cable and Mujahid Amekudi. They did very well considering some of them had never picked up a stick before, and even got spotted as a ‘team to watch’.
The boys won 2, drew 1 and lost 2 - but retained their spirit and pushed for success throughout every match. It was great to watch. Special mention must go to our top goal scorer – Azad.
