• Tuesday 29 April 2025 Charity Eid Brunch Earlier this month, we hosted a wonderful Eid brunch for our families, and it was such a pleasant surprise! Our families and Parent Ambassadors shared their experience, commenting that it was lovely that the school made such an effort for the parents. It was a fantastic opportunity to see parents engage with each other and staff. All money raised will go towards the school’s chosen charity for this half term, @msf_uk #BowGivesBack
• Monday 28 April 2025 THAT Exhibition We are very proud to be part of THAT Network (Tower Hamlets Art Teachers Network); sharing information and support with other art departments in Tower Hamlets Schools. This year for the THAT exhibition at the Art Pavillion in Mile End, we chose to showcase Key Stage 3 and 4 and we were very pleased with our display which included: Year 9 collaborative portraits, Year 8 protest T-Shirts, Year 10 ceramics, GCSE and A Level coursework. #ArtsAtBow #Determination
• Friday 25 April 2025 Super Curricular Learning The world we live in is forever changing. At every turn, there are technological advancements that we once thought were science fiction. We may have watched TV shows with robots, enjoyed watching flying cars in the Back to the Future movie and heard talk that one day there would be space tourism where you would pay to see the Earth from space. So many of these things were dreams that fascinated us. Now many of these things are a reality that we can see with our own eyes.

• Friday 18 April 2025 A Day in the Life of a Y11 Student Each day begins early, during our mock exams, with many students waking up before sunrise to fit in some last-minute revision. The journey to school is often spent flipping through flashcards or scrolling through notes on our phones, trying to absorb as much information as possible.

• Friday 11 April 2025 Year 10 Students Inspired at We Can Be Event In February, 12 Year 10 students attended the annual We Can Be event, funded by the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Charity. This program introduces young people to career opportunities in business and finance.
• Wednesday 9 April 2025 Personal Development Day On 30th January, our Year 12 students visited Stubbers Outdoor Activity Centre, where they took part in a range of activities including climbing, caving, and archery.

• Wednesday 2 April 2025 Comic Relief & Debate Mate Grant Final In early March, six of our debate team members had the incredible opportunity to attend the Grand Final Debate at none other than 10 Downing Street. The event, organised by Debate Mate and Comic Relief, was a showcase of sharp thinking, persuasive arguments, and passionate young voices—just in time for Red Nose Day 2025.
• Monday 31 March 2025 Oxford Student Returns to Bow Sixth Form We were delighted to welcome back Yamin Ahmed, a former Bow Sixth Form student who is currently studying Economics with Management at Oxford University.
• Friday 28 March 2025 Working with Jack Petchey Earlier this year, students visited the National Museum of Computing to learn about Robotics and AI, seeing first-hand what the first computer looked like and how it processed data.
• Wednesday 26 March 2025 In Collaboration with our Primaries We warmly welcomed Year 5 pupils from Old Palace Primary School, for an investigative workshop focused on electrical circuits, delivered by our Physics Specialist, Alan Siu.
