Meet Iftekhar

Iftekhar joined Bow Sixth Form from Bobby Moore Academy, studying BTEC Applied Sciences and with ambitions to pursue an apprenticeship in Civil Engineering.

 “Bow Sixth Form was recommended to me by a friend, who told me it is an excellent place to study, with supportive teachers, brilliant facilities and great opportunities – they weren’t wrong! The teachers always make a conscious effort to explain concepts in different ways, helping me to breakdown and understand difficult ideas and strategies, and apply my learning into real life contexts.

  I am really looking forward to results day next year, and celebrating grades which are reflective of my time here. I also look forward to exploring different post-Sixth Form opportunities, as I know that the Sixth Form puts a big emphasis on getting us to be World and Career Ready.

 I would recommend the Bow Sixth Form no doubt, to internal and external applicants. The staff team and students are very welcoming and tried to ensure I settled in well and the transition from secondary education was smooth”.
