Mount Anvil Construction Careers Trip
On Tuesday 16th October 2018, 15 DEC students had the privilege of spending the day with members from the Construction Mount Anvil Company. They had a very exciting day working on projects to develop housing in Tower Hamlets. Students had to work out where best to build apartments, how much it would cost, the interior and exterior of the apartments and who they would cater the apartments for. Each group had to present their work on a mood board in front of a judging panel (CEO, Deputy Mayor of Tower Hamlets and two other members from Mount Anvil).
The CEO commended the students on their fantastic ideas, presentation skills and their in-depth knowledge associated with construction.
This trip opened up the students minds into different career paths within the construction industry.
