National World War One Commemoration Service

National World War One Commemoration Service

The Culmination of Bow School’s participation in the First World War Commemoration events over the past four years was an invitation for two pupils to attend the National World War One Commemoration Service at Westminster Abbey with the Queen. The students were nominated to attend along with Mr Gillman to represent Bow School.

Bow School’s contribution to a number of national commemorative projects was then recognised by HM Government.

One of the students was then invited to lay a wreath at the grave of the Unknown Warrior as part of the service.

Well done to all students who have taken part in Bow School’s World War One events over the past four years.

Mr Gillman
