Proud Prospects

The Year 10 Proud Places program, organised by Heritage of London, engaged our students in a comprehensive three-part exploration. They visited Bromley-by-Bow's Memorial Gateway, participated in a stonemasonry workshop, and attended a law insight day at Jones Day law firm.

During the law insight day, students presented on the dissolution of the monasteries and the history of St. Leonard's Priory. They learned about various career pathways into law, took a tour of the office, participated in mock interviews, and concluded the day with a Dragon's Den-style pitch.

This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of local history and craftsmanship, leaving them inspired by their heritage and community.
