We are delighted to annouce this years record exam results, with an astounding 61% of students achieved 5+ A*-C grades including English and Maths, representing an impressive increase of 10 percentage points on last year’s figure and 17 percentage points since 2010.

A hugely impressive 39% of students achieved at least 3 A* or A grades with a large number gaining more than 3 top grades. Top achievers include Abdul Wahab and Rubayed Ahmed who each achieved a spectacular collection of 9 A*/A grades; and Partha Dey  and Nahim Ahad who also gained 8A*/As each.

Headteacher Cath Smith commented: “We are absolutely thrilled with these results. The school has far exceeded its ambitious targets; consolidating our trend for consistent progression and improvement. These results reflect the hard work and shared commitment of students, staff, parents and governors all of whom have absolute belief in the ability of Bow students to achieve their very best. We wish each and every one of them every success in their future endeavours.”

These latest set of results highlight the rapid improvement in exam success and is part of the exciting transformation programme at Bow School. We will be moving to a stunning new building in June 2014 and this will be followed in September 2014 by the introduction of girls as well as an expansion in the number of places and the opening of our Sixth Form, in partnership with other local schools – Sixth Form East.
