Science Summer School

Students recently enjoyed an unforgettable experience at a Science Summer School this term, where they had the opportunity to hear from two inspiring figures: renowned physicist Professor Brian Cox and social entrepreneur Lord Mawson.

Returning to the event to share their expertise and passion for science, Professor Cox and Lord Mawson encouraged students to think beyond the classroom and explore the exciting possibilities that science can offer. Their talks celebrated the United Kingdom’s continued strength as a global leader in scientific education, research and discovery, while highlighting the role that curiosity plays in driving innovation and solving the challenges of the future.

Students were captivated by the sessions' exploration of the universe, gaining a renewed sense of wonder about the world around them and the limitless opportunities that STEM subjects can provide.
