Bow School’s Send My Friend to School Champions Campaign

Send My Friend to School is a UK civil society coalition of international development NGOs, teachers’ unions and charities. It brings together young people, politicians, teachers, civil society and the media in a joint campaign to demand quality education for all children across the globe.

Two students from Year 9 went away with Ms Johnson on the weekend of 29th March to join other students from around the UK and Ireland in order to learn how to be Campaign Champions for Send My Friend to School’s next campaign. The students received training on how to speak to their MP, speech writing, voice training and photo stunts. They will be working with other students in the UK and Ireland to share the campaign in order to unlock education for the 262 million children across the world that still can’t go to school.
