Speakers for Schools Assembly – Kwame Kwaten
On Thursday 14th June, BowExtra! and the Music Department hosted the ‘Speakers for Schools’ talk, presented by Kwame Kwaten. Kwame is a British Manager, Music Consultant, musician and record producer. He owns an artist management and consultancy company called Ferocious Talent and is a co-founder of Cr8ing Vision, a non-profit company that offers young people a range of educational programmes, seminars, workshops and opportunities in both the music and sports industries.
We were delighted and grateful to have Kwame take the time out of his busy schedule to talk to our BTEC Music students and students from our Music Talent register. Kwame shared his wisdom and experience in the music industry to help broaden the audience’s horizons, make them feel confident about the world of possibilities their futures hold and motivate them to fulfil their maximum potential.
Our esteemed guest also kept things fun by organising an engaging interactive music industry quiz for students to take part in. The prize: Nando’s vouchers for seven of our lucky winners.
In the short time Kwame had with the students, he made a unique impression and we feel confident that he brought new direction and impetus to many.
