The Big Sing Event
Pupils from across the school took part in the ‘Big Sing’ event this month with a final performance at the 'Museum of Childhood' in Bethnal Green on Friday 19th May.
They performed 6 songs to a large audience including music by Bernstein, Gary Barlow, Sia and Purcell. Our Bow choir also performed 'Sing' by Elton John on their own - which was a real test of nerves and great experience for those who took part.
The other schools involved were: Phoenix, George Green, Morpeth, Stepney Green, St Pauls Way and Oaklands.
Leading the singing was vocal leader Jessie Maryon Davies who was really enthusiastic. Jessie has worked with artists such as Leona Lewis and Goldfrapp.
All the pupils were really well behaved and showed the school in a great light so many congratulations to them all.
We look forward to next year’s ‘Big Sing’ event.
