The Core Commissioning group for the public art at the new school visit Tate Modern to see the design for the new underpass unveiled!
The public art core commissioning group recently attended a workshop at the Tate Modern to develop their skills in using paper cutting techniques. The purpose of the visit was to enable the students to develop skills in taking complicated drawings and making them into simple, recognisable colourful shapes that could then be added to the mural which will decorate the underpass at the new school. At this session the students saw for the first time the design for the mural and were able to voice their opinions in response to the design. The make:good design team are now going to take away the students ‘ ideas and add them to the final underpass mural design.
