Tower Hamlets Athletics Competition

Congratulations to the Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 boys who competed at the Tower Hamlets Athletics Competition on Thursday 10th May.

Bow School came 3rd overall in the borough, with Year 7 and Year 9 coming 3rd and an outstanding performance by the Year 8’s who came joint 1st place with Bishop Challoner.

• Year 7 Team:

• - Sameur 1st in 400m
• - Sulieman 1st in 800m

• Year 8 Team:

• - Musa 1st in 100m (12.58s)
• - Lucas 1st in Shot Putt
• - Arayo 1st in Javelin
• - James, Wajedul, Kamali and Dawid 1st in 4 x 400m Relay
• - Nawab, Arayo, Nawaar and Musa 1st in 4 x 100m Relay

• Year 9 Team:

• - Anwar 1st in High Jump
• - Anton 1st in Javelin

• Year 10 Team:

• - Aman 1st in Discus

As a result, some students may be asked to compete for the borough in the upcoming London Athletics Championships!
