Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition

Congratulations to Rio Puffett in Year 9 who came first in the Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition. Students were given the task of writing a short story on the theme of traditional tales with a twist in no more than 750 words. Rio collected his reward at a prestigious ceremony hosted by the Tower Hamlets School Libraries Services at the Clifford Chance Building in Canary Wharf on the 22nd June. As part of his reward Rio has also won the opportunity for him and a friend to attend an exclusive workshop with the official judge of the competition and author Catherine Johnson. His work will be published as part of an eBook; made available to schools, alongside the other worthy runners up and ready for staff and pupils alike to enjoy shortly. If this wasn't enough this eBook will be available to buy through Amazon in the coming weeks.  Well done Rio.
