Tower Hamlets Indoor Athletics Competition
On Tuesday 15th January a group of Year 7 and Year 8 girls went to Central Foundation Girls School to take part in the Tower Hamlets Indoor Athletics Competition. There was some tough competition from other girls in the borough, but all of our competitors put in maximum effort and did really well. What was brilliant to see was the support and encouragement our girls all gave each other throughout the field and track events - they definitely made the most noise!
A particular well done to Kenzie Forbes and Elisha Wenham who both came 1st in their runs, and to the Year 8 Relay Team who came from second position to win the race, thanks to an outstanding last leg from Esemena.
