Tower Hamlets Indoor Athletics Competition
Bow School’s Y7 & 8 boy’s athletics teams had success during this year’s Tower Hamlets Indoor Athletics tournament. The students competed against all the other schools in the borough in what proved to be a very close contest. The boys rose to the challenge in a variety of field events including speed bounce, standing, vertical long jump and triple jump. At the half way stage, when all the field results had been collated, both the Y7 & 8 Bow teams were leading the event.
The boy’s also showed true grit and determination finishing in the top three in every track event. Combined track and field points resulted in Bow finishing in 2nd place narrowly behind Bishop Challoner.
