Tower Hamlets ‘Tape Ball’ World Cup
On Thursday 4th July 2019 I had the pleasure of taking a group of Year 7 & Year 8 students to Victoria Park to represent Sri Lanka (random allocation - each team were given a different country) in the Tower Hamlets ‘Tape Ball’ World Cup.
The students were really enthusiastic and played some great cricket throughout the day.
The students were unlucky not to progress to the semi-finals. Having won two and lost one, we were hopeful of a semi- final position, but fell slightly short on our overall run rate.
