Trip: Royal Observatory Museum

Trip: Royal Observatory Museum

At the end of the summer term, some KS3 & 4 students who made good progress and attended STEM club regularly, participated in STEM Challenges and won awards were given an opportunity to go to The Royal Observatory Museum as a Reward trip. Students were able to watch The Planetarium show in the Peter Harrison Planetarium delivered live by Royal Observatory astronomers. The state-of-the-art digital planetarium provided an inspiring, immersive and interactive learning experience, allowing students to examine the day and night-time sky, fly through our solar system or enjoy visually stunning pre-recorded shows about the latest discoveries in astronomy.
