WE Scare Hunger CAMPAIGN

The ‘I am WE’ Committee encourages our students to challenge apathy, discover their passions and develop lifelong skills like leadership, critical thinking and action planning. Whilst most organisations see young people as problems to be solved, we see young people as problem solvers.

This term the ‘I am WE’ Committee have been taking action on food poverty and supporting the First Love Foundation.  The ‘First Love Foundation’ provide emergency advice and food support and help people get their lives back on track. 

Key stage 3 tutor groups made generous donations towards this campaign and we collected over 400 items ranging from toiletries to food items.

Committee members displayed excellent hard work, commitment and active citizenship in order to make the ‘WE Scare Hunger’ campaign a great success.

The ‘I am WE’ Committee would like to thank students, parents and staff for their kind donations.

Next term, the ‘I am WE’ Committee will be moving on to a global campaign which, with all your support, will be an even bigger success!
