Welcoming Old Palace

Before the summer holidays commenced, our amazing debate team of Year 8s + one student in Y10, hosted 10 Year 5 pupils from Old Palace Primary, who are also involved in debating.

It was another proud moment to see our students display such confidence in hosting visitors. Our team created and presented a PowerPoint; a debating booklet for the pupils to take notes and took modelled a 'show debate'.

The teams then went head-to-head! Old Palace really showed their spark asking some great POI questions and were so confident in competing - showing no weakness against an older team! The Bow School team were honoured to be defeated by such fantastic opponents.
