Y7-10 Girls Indoor Athletics Championships
On Wednesday 26th February a group of girls were taken to the Lea Valley Athletics Centre at Pickets Lock to take part in the Tower Hamlets Indoor Athletics Competition – see below:

Bow School came 4th overall when the individual year group points were combined.
The Y9 and Y10 girls did exceptionally well in their competitions coming 2nd behind Bishop Challoner. There were some excellent individual performances from Esemena who came 1st in the Hurdles and Travieka who came 1st in her 60m sprint. Grace Pambu also came 2nd in the High Jump competition having never done it before ….. she was taught on the day and was brilliant!
