YR 10 Work Experience Feedback
For two weeks from 19th February to 2nd March 2018, Year 10 students completed their work experience placements in and around Tower Hamlets and beyond. We have received some amazing feedback regarding individual students and how they really demonstrated ‘The Bow Way’. Below is a selection of what they got up to with some of their feedback/feedback from placements.
Aman Uddin 10C- Into University Centre
‘I have just spent a week at Into University with my Year 6 class and your Year 10 work experience student, Aman. Myself and my colleague just wanted to pass on what a credit Aman is to Bow School. We both thought that he was an incredibly mature, kind and intelligent student and were astonished to find out that he was on work experience rather than another employee. It would be fantastic if his parents could be informed of what a brilliant job he was doing in supporting our class’. (Sian Wareing, Year 6 Teacher, Olga Primary School)
Maeesha Hussain 10O - Bow School Art & DT Department
‘I would just like to let you all know how wonderfully helpful Maeesha has been this week. She is trying her best with every task assigned to her. She arrives each day excited and ready for jobs to do’. (Anna Rawles, Advanced Skills Art & DT Technician, Bow School)
Daniel McCann 10W- Lassco Ltd Printers
Daniel got to experience travelling into central London on his own and received really positive feedback. As well as working for a Printers, he got to work with photographers and learn different ICT techniques. Daniel found this really interesting and wishes to look further into this industry as a potential career path.
Aman Hoque-Chowdhury 10C - Tower Hamlets Community Housing
Aman really enjoyed his placement and his employers were really impressed with him.
