Year 10, 12 & 13 Law Trip To Clifford Chance
On Wednesday 29th November, students from Year 10, 11 and 13 went to visit the offices of Clifford Chance, a law firm based in Canary Wharf.
The students took part in a range of different careers activities, including a Q&A session with four different people who work in the firm, a tour with an apprentice, and completed activities where they analysed their strengths and the skills that they had gained from their hobbies. The last activity was designed to help them to prepare for being successful in an interview, which they practiced at the end.
It was a great opportunity for the students to gain an insight into what it could be like to work in a law firm, including learning that there are a number of different roles in such a firm that do not require a law degree, and a chance to think about how they can best prepare for life after Bow.
Ms Eldrid and Ms Rahman were really impressed with all of the students for their mature attitude and the enthusiasm they showed throughout the day.
